5. Children’s Privacy and COPPA
Rocket Club’s educational programs serve children, but Rocket Club’s public websites, inquiry forms, enrollment forms, and payment pages are intended to be used by parents, guardians, caregivers, and other adults.
Information Should Be Submitted by an Adult
Children under 13 should not independently submit personal information through Rocket Club’s public forms, payment pages, email addresses, or other adult-facing services.
Parents and guardians may provide information about their children as necessary to inquire about, enroll in, and receive Rocket Club services.
Direct Collection From a Child
If Rocket Club offers an online activity through which we knowingly collect personal information directly from a child under 13, we will, unless a legal exception applies:
Provide the parent or guardian with direct notice of the information practices associated with that activity;
Obtain verifiable parental consent before collecting, using, or disclosing the child’s personal information;
Collect no more information than is reasonably necessary for the child to participate;
Give the parent or guardian an opportunity to consent to collection and internal use without consenting to disclosures that are not integral to the service;
Obtain any separate parental consent required for targeted advertising or other non-integral third-party disclosures;
Permit the parent or guardian to review or request deletion of the child’s information;
Permit the parent or guardian to prevent further use or collection; and
Retain the information only as long as reasonably necessary for the specific purpose for which it was collected.
A link to this Privacy Policy does not replace any separate direct notice or consent process legally required before information is collected directly from a child.

Name, age, date of birth, grade, and school;
Parent or guardian contact information;

Advertising and Children
Rocket Club does not knowingly:
Sell a child’s personal information;
Share a child’s personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising;
Use a child’s personal information for targeted advertising;
Build an advertising profile about a child;
Use health, assessment, progress, or educational information to advertise unrelated products; or
Permit advertising providers to track children across unrelated websites or services through a child-facing portion of our services.
Advertising and campaign-measurement tools, when used, are intended for adult-facing portions of our websites and adult audiences.
Public Disclosure
Rocket Club will not knowingly make a child’s personal information publicly available without parental authorization or another lawful basis.
When authorized, a child’s name, photograph, video, voice, project, testimonial, certification, achievement, or Hall of Fame recognition may appear on Rocket Club’s website, physical displays, social-media accounts, press materials, or marketing materials.
Service Providers Handling Children’s Information
We may provide limited child information to service providers that help us operate our programs, such as hosting, communications, cloud-storage, virtual-classroom, educational, security, or administrative providers.
We seek to provide only the information reasonably necessary for the provider’s function and require service providers to handle the information for authorized purposes and maintain appropriate protections.
Parental Rights
A verified parent or legal guardian may ask to:
Review the personal information collected online from their child;
Correct inaccurate information;
Delete the child’s personal information;
Withdraw previously provided consent;
Refuse further collection or use;
Request information concerning the types of information collected and how it is used; or
Request information concerning service providers or third parties to which the information has been disclosed.
Submit a request to admin@rocketclub.com with the subject “Child Privacy Request.”
We may take reasonable steps to verify the requester’s identity, authority, and relationship to the child before releasing, changing, or deleting information.
Withdrawal of consent may prevent Rocket Club from continuing to provide a feature or service that depends on the information. We may retain limited information when required for safety, legal compliance, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, or another lawful purpose.
New York Minors
For minors covered by the New York Child Data Protection Act, Rocket Club processes personal data only as permitted by applicable law.
Where a parent or guardian enrolls a minor in a Rocket Club program, we may process the minor’s personal data as strictly necessary to provide and maintain the requested program, communicate with the family, maintain safety, process authorized transactions, conduct internal operations permitted by law, and comply with legal obligations.
We will obtain consent required by law before using a minor’s information for an unrelated or non-necessary purpose.
6. Cookies and Similar Technologies
Rocket Club and its service providers may use cookies, pixels, local storage, tags, software-development kits, and similar technologies.
These technologies may be used for:
Marketing
These technologies are used by advertisers to serve ads that are relevant to your interests.
Functional
These technologies enable us to analyze usage behavior in order to measure and improve performance.
Essential
These technologies are required to activate the core functionality of our service.
Adult-Focused Advertising and Campaign Measurement
On adult-facing portions of our website, we may use advertising or campaign-measurement technologies to understand whether an advertisement resulted in a website visit or inquiry and to display Rocket Club advertisements to adults.
Depending on applicable state law, disclosure of adult browsing or device information to advertising providers may be considered a “sale,” “sharing,” or processing for targeted advertising even when no money is exchanged.
We do not knowingly use these technologies to behaviorally advertise to children or to use children’s educational, health, progress, or membership information for advertising.
Cookie Choices
Visitors can control cookies and data processing services through browser settings and Rocket Club’s Privacy Settings tool.
Blocking cookies may affect website functionality.
Where required by law, Rocket Club will recognize supported browser-based opt-out preference signals, such as Global Privacy Control, as a request to opt out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising for the applicable browser or device.
Because browser “Do Not Track” signals do not operate under a single uniform industry standard, our response to those signals may vary. We respond to legally recognized opt-out preference signals where required.
Data processing Services
A list of the data processing services used on our website is shown below.
7. Email and Text Messages
Rocket Club may send:
Inquiry and trial follow-ups;
Class and attendance information;
Parent updates;
Payment and account notices;
Safety or operational announcements;
Newsletters;
Event announcements; and
Promotional messages.
Marketing emails include an unsubscribe method when required. Unsubscribing from marketing messages will not prevent necessary transactional, membership, safety, or account-related communications.
Text Messages
When a person affirmatively provides SMS consent, Rocket Club may send text messages concerning:
Appointment or trial reminders;
Scheduling;
Attendance;
Class updates;
Payment or membership matters;
Events;
Operational announcements; and
Promotional information covered by the consent provided.
Consent to receive promotional text messages is not a condition of purchasing Rocket Club services. Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply.
Recipients may reply:
STOP to opt out; or
HELP for assistance.
We may retain records of SMS consent and opt-out requests as necessary to document compliance.
Mobile telephone numbers, SMS consent records, and text-message opt-in information are not sold or provided to unaffiliated third parties for their own marketing. They may be provided to messaging, telecommunications, compliance, and technology providers solely as necessary to send messages and operate the program.
8. Payments, Stripe, and Bank Connections
Rocket Club uses Stripe and may use other payment providers to process payments and save payment methods.
When a person uses payments.rocketclub.com or another Stripe-enabled payment form:
Card or bank information is entered directly into technology operated by Stripe;
Stripe processes the financial information necessary to connect and save the payment method;
Rocket Club does not receive or store full card numbers, full bank-account numbers, routing numbers, or bank login credentials; and
Rocket Club may receive limited information such as the payment-method type, card brand, expiration date, bank name, account category, last four digits, payment status, and related Stripe identifiers.
If a person connects a bank account through Stripe Financial Connections, Rocket Club requests only the payment-method permission needed to create and save the bank account as a payment method for authorized future charges.
Rocket Club does not request or receive access to:
The balance in the bank account;
The account’s transaction history; or
Bank-account ownership information available through Stripe’s separate ownership permission.
Stripe processes the information necessary to connect and save the payment method in accordance with Stripe’s own privacy notice and the disclosures presented during the bank-connection process.
A saved payment method may be used for current and future Rocket Club charges as authorized by the applicable membership agreement, enrollment agreement, and payment authorization.
To update or remove a saved payment method, contact admin@rocketclub.com. Removing a payment method does not cancel an outstanding payment obligation or require Rocket Club or its service providers to delete transaction, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, dispute, or other records they are legally or operationally required to retain.

10. Sale, Sharing, and Targeted Advertising
Rocket Club does not sell personal information in exchange for money.
Rocket Club does not knowingly sell or share children’s personal information for targeted or cross-context behavioral advertising.
On adult-facing portions of our websites, we may use analytics and advertising technologies that disclose limited device, cookie, or website-activity information to advertising providers. Certain state laws may define this activity as a “sale,” “sharing,” or targeted advertising.
Residents with applicable rights may opt out by:
Using Rocket Club’s Cookie Preferences tool;
Enabling a legally recognized opt-out preference signal, such as Global Privacy Control; or
Contacting admin@rocketclub.com.
Rocket Club does not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16 without the affirmative authorization required by applicable law.
11. Data Retention
Rocket Club retains personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected and as required or permitted by law.
Retention depends on factors such as:
Whether a family is an active member;
The length and nature of the relationship;
The need to provide progress and membership history;
Safety and incident-management needs;
Parent or guardian expectations;
Tax, accounting, insurance, and legal requirements;
Payment disputes, chargebacks, or claims;
Fraud-prevention and security needs;
The applicable limitation period; and
Whether the information is contained in backups or legal holds.
Children’s personal information collected online will not be retained indefinitely. It will be deleted or deidentified when it is no longer reasonably necessary for the specific purpose for which it was collected, unless retention is required or permitted by law.
Payment and transaction records may be retained longer to satisfy accounting, tax, contractual, fraud-prevention, and legal obligations.
Security-camera footage is generally retained for a limited operational period unless it is needed to investigate an incident, resolve a dispute, protect safety, or comply with law.
When deletion is appropriate, Rocket Club will take reasonable measures to securely delete, destroy, or deidentify information. Information may remain temporarily in restricted backups until those backups are overwritten through normal processes.
Information previously published with authorization, such as social-media posts, press coverage, or public Hall of Fame recognition, may remain in copies, archives, search-engine results, or third-party systems outside Rocket Club’s reasonable control.
12. Data Security

Monitoring for unauthorized activity;
Evaluating service-provider security;
Maintaining backup and recovery procedures; and

No website, network, transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Families should use caution when transmitting sensitive information through ordinary email or text messages.
If Rocket Club discovers a data incident requiring notification, we will provide notices to affected individuals and governmental authorities as required by applicable law.
13. Privacy Rights
Depending on where a person lives and the law that applies, they may have the right to:
Confirm whether we process their personal information;
Access personal information;
Request correction of inaccurate information;
Request deletion;
Obtain a portable copy of certain information;
Opt out of sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or certain profiling;
Limit certain uses or disclosures of sensitive personal information;
Withdraw consent;
Appeal the denial of a privacy request;
Request information about categories of information, sources, purposes, and recipients;
Request information about direct-marketing disclosures; and
Receive equal service without unlawful discrimination for exercising privacy rights.
A parent or legal guardian may exercise applicable rights on behalf of a child.
Submit requests to admin@rocketclub.com with the subject “Privacy Request.”
A request should explain the right being exercised and provide enough information for Rocket Club to locate the relevant records.
We may:
Verify identity before completing a request;
Verify parental or legal authority;
Request additional information reasonably necessary for verification;
Decline or limit a request where an exception applies; and
Retain a record of the request and our response.
An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted by law. We may require evidence of the agent’s authority and may verify the request directly with the individual.
